Security Badge Process FAQ’s
Q) When is the Security Training Class offered?
A) The Security Training Class is available Monday through Friday, during regular hours of operation. You must have an appointment to attend the training session. You may contact the Badging Office at 515-256-5005 to schedule an appointment.
Q) How long is the Security Training Class?
A) Airport Security Training is offered via individual computer workstations. Typically training can take from 30 minutes to an hour to complete.
Q) What forms of Identification are acceptable?
A) Please reference the Identity and Employment Verification Chart. Reminder: You must bring in one item from Column A(or if none apply), one item from Column B AND one item from Column C.
Q) What is an “Authorized Representative”?
A) A company’s authorized signature is typically a manager or supervisor. You can check with your manager or the Airport Badging Office for a list of your company’s Authorized Representative.
Q) How do I change my list of Authorized Representative within my company?
A) You will need to obtain and complete and new Authorized Signature Letter and submit it to the Airport Badging Office.
Q) How can I return my badge if I no longer need/require it?
A) You can drop it off in person at the Airport Badging Office, Room 207, or you can choose to mail the badge to:
